The purpose of a keynote is to establish the theme of an event. Nicky has a natural ability to deliver a speech that encapsulates the audience, complemented by a contagious, positive outlook on life. Setting goals helps trigger new behaviours, helps guides focus and helps sustain momentum in all areas of life.
I spend much of my time prior to delivering a talk, understanding the company ethos, mantra, or objective, in order to deliver a talk that is tailor-made and aligned towards a common goal that transforms your vision into a shared vision.
Whether it is in a packed-out stadium or an office environment, the performance of employees is a product of both their abilities (e.g. skills & experience) and motivation. A talented employee who feels de-motivated is unlikely to perform well at work, whereas a motivated employee can often deliver far more than is expected from them!
Keynote talks can be offered in person or online.
A Keynote Speaker should be able to capture the essence of an organisation’s vision or ethos, and be able to highlight it to an audience in a given period of time.
Keynote speakers give you a fresh way to state a company mission, or review some of the general principles you have been trying to instill.
As a former professional footballer, the best managers I ever worked under were the ones that simplified the game to his or her players.
Likewise, your employees will feel more confident in what they do once they have a clear picture of the path forward.
Keynote talks can last anything from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on the client’s needs.
However, it is generally accepted that a keynote talk is 45 minutes.
